 The
Apple Patch has hosted several tours a year for local Girl Scout and Boy Scout
troups
and local school groups. We have shown them through the orchard explaining how
it's operated while sampling of all of the apples that are ready at the
time. We demonstrate the equipment that is used to maintain the orchard
and let them make some apple cider in our press if decent apples are available.
Late September is usually the best time to do this in our area. If you are a
